These are inspections in which the owner has filed bankruptcy. We do not make contact with the occupant, but we may/ could contact a neighbor to ascertain if the property is occupied or vacant.
We won’t discuss any other information with the neighbor(s). We won’t leave a call back card with anyone at the property, and if the property is confirmed vacant, then we will perform a complete exterior inspection – unless otherwise stated on the form or in the guidelines. We’ll make sure to follow all the instructions set forth in the guidelines for each mortgage company.
