These are sent out after a disaster (hurricanes, flooding, tornados, earthquakes, fire, water, weather, etc) to check on the repair status and damage at the property. We will make sure to go to the property, after making an appointment with the homeowner, to list all damages and causes of damage, repairs done, and to provide photos supporting all damages and repair.
If needed, we will obtain a signature from the mortgager, indicating that he/she is satisfied (or not) before the insurance company can release the check. We will always read our inspection forms for information on what to do at each property, and to treat each homeowner with respect when entering their homes.
